“One of the largest works at Art Basel is the 3-D installation to be projected on the outside of Ocean Drive’s iconic Tides Hotel (1220 Ocean Drive) at 8 and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Sponsored by Hyundai and Pearl Media, a montage of 8-bit gaming graphics will be projected over 8,000 square feet of the hotel, with action choreographed to an original 8-bit score composed by popular tech-based genre band Anamanaguchi. Watch 3-D images bounce off the Tides’ unique architecture, all without the use of 3-D glasses.” - Ben Crandell, Sun Sentinel
